Ways to join LISA: What’s the difference?

How to choose what option works best for me.

In a few words, both options are easy and you should choose based on your situation and future needs. There is no drastic difference in the workflow and no extra fee involved.

Option 1. I don’t have a wallet yet.

If you’re new to web3 or haven’t had time to create a wallet yet, LISA allows you to sign up using your Google or Apple account or any other email you would like to use.

Why choose this option?
It is very straightforward and fast. You will not need to invest time and extra effort in selecting and creating a wallet. The only thing you’ll need to do is to add money to your wallet created on LISA. It only takes a few minutes to add the money via Ramp. Learn how to do it
here.

Option 2. I already have a wallet.

If for any reason you would prefer to create a wallet outside of LISA, feel free to use platforms like Coinbase, MetaMask or others. In that case, to join LISA you should select particular options available at the bottom of a signup window or use the WalletConnect to connect with any other. LISA does its best to make connections with any existing wallets as seamless as possible.

Why choose this option?
It requires you to invest slightly more time into choosing a wallet that will suit your needs. If you already have a wallet you would like to connect, this option will make more sense, so you can manage all your resources in a single place.
